Throwing it back to one of those ridiculously gorgeous June days when Swansea apparently decided it was somewhere on the Mediterranean. ☀️
Lakeisha & Chris chose my 6-hour wedding photography package, which gave us the perfect amount of time to tell the story of their day – without needing photography from first thing in the morning until late into the night.
I started with Lakeisha getting ready, while also making time for some pre-ceremony portraits of Chris and his groomsmen. Then came their ceremony (which was beautiful led by Hwyl Ceremonies), a handful of group photos and plenty of time to wander in and around Morgans for relaxed couple portraits. This is one of the things I absolutely love about Morgans – so much variety for your photos! The courtyard, the steps, the side entrance, the surrounding streets….you can have a wide variety of shots in just 5 minutes which means you can get back to partying sooner
Drinks flowing, music playing, guests chatting and laughing, hugs, reactions and all those little in-between moments during cocktail hour that you simply can’t recreate for the camera. ❤️
By the time Lakeisha & Chris sat down for their meal, we’d captured everything from the anticipation before the ceremony to the newlywed portraits and the atmosphere of their reception.
Six hours. No rushing. No endless posing. Just the parts of the day that mattered to them.
