I’ve been photographing weddings at King Arthur for more than 10 years, so it’s a venue I know inside out, and still one of my favourite places in Gower to work. From getting ready and ceremonies in Avalon to photographs around the gardens and completely unplanned moments during your drinks reception, there’s loads of variety without having to disappear from your guests for hours.

And whether you’re planning a traditional celebration or one of King Arthur’s twilight weddings, you don’t necessarily need all-day photography to tell the story.

This is where part-day photography really comes into its own.

If your wedding doesn't begin until later in the day, why pay for a traditional package designed around photography from morning until night?

My 2, 4 and 6-hour packages let you choose the parts you actually want photographed - whether that's simply your ceremony and portraits or getting ready right through into the evening.

Example Timeline

2:30pm - Photography starts with bridal/groom prep on site

4pm - Ceremony

4:30pm - Confetti exit

4:45pm - Group photos on the lawn

5:30pm - Couple's portraits in gardens

6pm - Drinks, nibbles and chatting

8pm - Cake Cutting & First Dance

8:30pm - Buffet, photography ends

6 hours perfectly covers everything from getting ready until the dancefloor for later ceremonies

Have you photographed a wedding at King Arthur Before?

I photograph weddings in Wales - rain is practically part of the job description! ☔️ I know King Arthur well, I have a selection of umbrellas in my car at all times, I know where to shoot if the weather turns, and I’ll keep an eye on the skies and grab every opportunity to get you outside when I can. Rain changes the plan, not the quality of your photographs.

how much time do we need to book you for?

Absolutely! Many couples choose to head to Cefn Bryn for couples photos as it's not only gorgeous but only 5 minutes away from the venue (and stunning at sunset!)

If you want to venture somewhere further afield such as Worm's Head or one of Gower's beautiful beaches, let's chat and figure out how to fit it into your timeline

You can choose 2, 4 or 6 hour packages to perfectly cover whichever parts of the day are most important to you to have captured.
