Laura and Noah’s wedding was a shining example of how magical a home wedding can be when you make it entirely your own. Set on their beautiful property in West Wales, their day was filled with charm, personality, and a whole lot of love – not to mention horses, dogs, and chickens too!
Laura began her morning getting ready in their home before one of the most unforgettable aisle entrances I’ve ever seen: she rode her horse from the stables down to the ceremony, where Noah waited with a huge smile on his face. Their ceremony, led by a celebrant, took place in the garden, with guests sitting comfortably on hay bales and surrounded by wagging tails – not just Laura and Noah’s dogs, but their guests’ dogs too were invited to be part of the celebrations.
The food was as memorable as the setting, with a delicious hot curry buffet provided by The Veganish Mum pop-up kitchen – flavour-packed, warming, and perfect for sharing. Drinks were help-yourself style at the couple’s bar, and of course, the furry guests weren’t forgotten – they had their very own dog bar stocked with treats, toys, and water bowls.
As the sun dipped in the evening, Laura and Noah took a stroll back to the stables for some relaxed couple’s portraits with their horses, and even said a quick hello to their chickens! We then wandered into the fields for some peaceful golden hour shots – just the two of them, soaking up the moment.
This wedding was joyful, relaxed, and a beautiful reminder that the best weddings are the ones that reflect you. Laura and Noah proved that with a little creativity, a lot of love, and a few four-legged friends, a wedding at home can be just as magical – if not more – than any traditional venue.
